dysphagia or dementia?
today in the ward, i met an 82 year old patient. she was sleeping when i arrived by her bedside and i noticed she had a small soft toy in her hand.. tell tale sign of dementia?
we were called down by the doctor cos she hasnt been eating well. but we couldnt tell if its swallowing problems, or a symptom of dementia. mhmm.
she refused to wake up thus we couldnt do much. we’ll see how on...
